"Blue Boy" C14028

I am very excited that this piece was accepted to the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts annual members show hosted at Greenhouse Gallery.

I am in love with the horse, his majestic quality and spiritual nature.  This is sketched with pen and ink and a light watercolor wash added. The paper is 100% Cotton Rag handmade paper which has deckled edges around 4 sides and is un-uniform in appearance.  I find sketching in ink prevents me from overthinking and wanting to erase lines.
